Project in Brief : The building comprised of a covered bay of 18m span X 72m long and an open gantry bay of 18m span X 30m long. The entire structure houses a 15MT. Capacity EOT crane. The building was on a reclaimed land with a large overburden of clayey soil having very low SPT values. Bearing cum friction piles rest on a strata having SPT value greater than 50. The depth of bored cast-in-situ concrete piles is around 46m.
