Project in Breif : Fibre Glass Roof Light Spherical Dome, of radius of curvature of 9.25m, over 8.6m diameter roof opening. For ease of manufacture, the dome was divided in 20 equal parts, along the meridinal lines, in the form of petals, and was assembled in position. The overall thickness of shell is restricted to 3mm, except near supporting edges, for better light transmission properties. Near the edges of individual petals 8mm thickness is maintained.
