Project in Brief : A 3000 TPA. HDG plant project included main plant building, laboratory, DG room, office block, weigh bridge cabin, security office, ETP etc.
The pre-treatment process involved acid pickling. In the process acid fumes are generated causing heavy corrosion of steel. Hence special precautions were taken for the durability of the structure. For the main plant building RCC portal frames have been used with structural steel purlins to support AC sheet roofing. The purlins have been FRP lined for protection against corrosion.
