Project in Breif The factory underwent an expansion from 1250 to 2500 tonnes of crushing per day. The existing effluent treatment plant was inadequate to handle the new loading. In principle activated sludge method of treatment followed by aeration basins was proposed. The civil work consisted of sedimentation tank, aeration tanks, clarifiers, sump cum pump house, sludge drying beds etc. Total project consultancy was provided including getting consent from Pollution Control Board & Director of Sugar, providing services like project monitoring, supervision of construction and assistance during commissioning and stabilising the system.
